Lemon Garlic Green Beans

Lemon Garlic Green Beans

Green beans are an easy side to make for a simple dinner. Choose any type of protein and a grain to go with the beans and you have yourself a well balanced meal.

Steaming is one of the most common ways that I cook green beans. My mom grew up steaming green beans and it’s just so easy! Add water to the bottom of your pot insert your steamer. This is the steamer that I use. It’s really easy to clean too – bonus!

If you don’t have a steamer, you could throw them in a skillet on the stove top.
