Guacamole
Ever since I was a kid, one of my all time favorite appetizers and dips has and will always be GUAC. I’ve never been able to practice self control when I am around it. And trust me, I’ve tried!
It’s a dip that doesn’t always have to be served with a Mexican meal. Although, it is my favorite topping to any taco! Here is a list of ideas of foods that guac goes well with (besides Mexican).
- Salad
- Grilled chicken
- Grilled steak
- Grilled shrimp
- Raw veggies – carrots, peppers, cucumbers
- Grilled veggies – peppers, onion, mushrooms
- Plantain chips (My sister Tara gave me this snack idea and its WONDERFUL) These are a healthier chip option.
I make it a lot because its just so darn easy and so darn tasty!

Remove the pits from each avocado. Add avocado to a medium size bowl. Mash until you reach the consistency you prefer.
Add the rest of the ingredients to the bowl.
Serve with tortilla chips. Enjoy!
